Dating Services
You've seen dating services advertised all over television, newspapers and the Internet. Hey, you're single, right? What would it hurt to contact a dating service? Oh but wait a minute, as soon as you start to consider it you become immediately outcast from all your friends and family! They say nobody actually uses dating services. They say they're for psychotics or for people who can't get a date anywhere else. These are major misconceptions about online dating.
Isn't it ironic that most people who joke joining about a dating service are usually people that are not currently dating? Maybe they, in all of their marital bliss, have forgotten what it's like to be in today's fast-moving dating scene. It can be ruthless out there! It's hard for a shy person to just walk into a bar and start a conversation with a stranger. Frankly, it's even hard for a sociable and friendly person to immediately start talking and flirting with someone they don't know. Flirting is an art form, and yet, a highly personal experience. It's not like showing circus tricks, mate! You can't always "perform" on demand, not when it comes to love.
This is what smart people actually do realize about real life dating, and why they are often inclined to join a legitimate dating service. Is it really such a bright thing to do, to pick up your next sweetheart at "The Electronic Cowboy" disco bar? Is picking up a stranger at the supermarket really that much of a thrill that it's more important than compatibility?
If you have ever been single for a long period of time (as opposed to your best friend who was married in his 20s and is now a married hot-air-know-it-all in his 40s) then you know that it can be brutal out there. Why take your chances in a dating world that's cold and unwelcoming? If you're afraid of rejection, then stop going to bars and using cheesy pickup lines.
Instead, join a dating service and enjoy being matched up with somebody who is actually compatible with your personality. Computers and human beings both work together in an effort to match your vital personality traits with another personality type who is statistically compatible with your line of thinking. This is the real meaning of the term "speed dating." You're not playing games-you're meeting your ideal partner in record time!
